A Farmer's diary - 5

Today is Friday,
Cloudy and no rain in the forecast.
Temperature around 25 degrees centigrade.

I planted some rice grain, now I will check how it grew after a few days.

Some have just germinated.

And some have green small leaves.

I will bring them to the rice paddies,

and get ready for transplanting.

They should be planted in rows and allow enough space so they could grow strong and bear rice grain until harvest time.

Toucheng Farm teaches students how to plant rice seedlings in the rice paddies just how you see it here. They have a real experience barefooted and walk along the Farmer's path. Hopefully like him, they will treasure every rice grain in our dining table.
