Taipei European School (French Section)

Today, four Teachers, forty-three children from Taipei European School French Section came to visit Toucheng Leisure Farm for a 2 days and one night stay.

Here are some photos taken during their stay.

While they make the rice balls for soup,  (below) which they ate after the sky lantern activity.

We went sweet potato digging for fresh, organic and juicy potatoes.



Here Uncle Ando demonstrates how to make a kiln, a traditional oven for baking eggs, corn,
sweet potatoes or even the whole chicken.

This is the first time I've ever seen a firefly!!

I saw 49 fireflies tonight!!

Coming here is the best thing that ever happened to me!!

Toucheng Leisure Farm hopes to see them again next year, as they do every year!

Ming Chuan University Exchange Students (2nd batch)

Today May 6, Saturday, the 2nd batch of students from Ming Chuan University Taoyuan branch,
visited Toucheng Leisure Farm.
They are from different countries like: Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Belgium, Mexico and
St. Vincents.

They come to the Farm every year at about this time of the year, for about five years now! Both branches of Ming Chuan University, come at a different time.

Ming Chuan University Exchange Students (1)

Today (March 29) the exchange students of Ming Chuan University (1st batch), visited Toucheng Leisure Farm.
They came from different Asian and South American Countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, The Philippines, Japan, India, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Salvador,Nicaragua, St. Vincent's and others.
