ITE - Central College (Singapore) Students and Teachers

They had a tour of the Farm and posed in front of the Mud Hut.
Kilning is fun, but sucessfully building the kiln is an indeed a joyful experience!
Feeding the goats is a way to understand these Farm animals.
Transplanting the rice seedlings at the rice paddies will tell us how hard the Farmers work so we can eat rice everyday!

Take a last look at these young people, they are the future of  Singapore!.

Five distinguished and handsome guests from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited Toucheng Leisure Farm last Wednesday.

They toured the Farm, watched how kilning is done. But most of all enjoyed the refreshing view and atmosphere of the river.

The Farm's Rivers

There are three rivers in the premises of Toucheng Leisure Farm. These three rivers' flowing water, all converge near the entrance of the Farm and unto the nearby Pacific Ocean.
 See this beautiful sights? they are just some of the exciting views you'll find as you walk along the paths.
 

White Butterfly Flower (Hedychium coronarium)

As I walked around the Farm, a special aroma filled the air! And look what I found? the sweet smelling white flower, butterfly-shaped lovely flower. 

 Before the flower opens, a beautiful bud appears like this.

both belong to the ginger family.

When everyone has enough, they proceeded to the activities area and did the T-shirt printing.

Golden Shower Tree (Cassia fistula)

Cassia fistula is a deciduous tree which blooms late spring or early summer.
In Thailand it symbolizes Thai royalty due to its yellow flower and it is known as Thai national flower.
After the bloom, (here are the seeds in black) they turn into seeds which are shaped liked sausages and are known in Chinese
as "sausage trees"!

Now they are in bloom at Toucheng Leisure Farm. Come and see it for yourself, don't miss this opportunity!
