Beatty Secondary School Students from SIngapore

Students from Singapore's Beatty Secondary School visited Toucheng Farm for a two days and one night package this week. Here they are posing for a group picture with the Chao-re Building as background where they stayed for the night.

.

They arrived in the afternoon of the first day, and went to the kilning area where they learned how to erect a kiln, the traditional oven to roast some sweet potatoes. Then, I brought them around the Farm to feed the goats, watched the turkeys, saw the water buffalo family of four and felt a feeling of awe as they watched the cute piglets with the mother pig.

After a hearty BBQ party, they wrote their wishes on the sky lanterns they pasted themselves, they lighted it up and delighted at the sight of those lanterns as it flew up to the evening sky, many were impressed with that sight!

After breakfast the next day, we went to the rice paddies, look at them as they prepare to get in the water barefooted!

Do you know to use the rice stone grinder? Ask her, she can do it! You,too can!

Here she is printing a leaf on a T-shirt, it was fun, too!

Add ImagePicasso will admire this painting, don't you think so?

And here they are partaking lunch with other hundred guests at Toucheng Farm!

Before they left, I gathered some feedback from these students, all of them are fifteen years old! " I had a lot of fun! , All are fresh and green! Flying the sky lantern is my favorite activity, I like to plant rice seedlings in the rice paddy. It's a different world! " and many other interesting answers.

How about you? Want to share those happy moments with us? Come to Toucheng Farm, its the perfect place to go anytime, weekends or weekdays!
