Mud Hut - 2

Toucheng Farm's mud hut, is one of the main attraction in the Farm. Beside its being a cultural significance, it has a historical value.

The photos taken while the mud hut is under construction is in one of the Farm's blog issued last May.

Today, I will tell you more about what's inside:

A traditional Chinese bed is a gift given to a newlywed on their wedding day.

And what's so special about this twin stove made of stone? Warmth of a couple's union!

Wooden chest boxes are for clothes or valuables.

Take a look at this tables and chairs:

Their traditional bathroom!

With a bath tub inside!

How about the kitchen?

Complete with water and firewood to cook for the whole family!

They lived simply, quietly and surely satisfied with what they have! But I think they were smart, very realistic and creative. What do you think?
