American Chinese students (Canadian)

American students of Chinese parentage, stayed at Toucheng Farm for a 2 days and 1 night package tour. There were 26 of them from 5Th - 12Th grades, around 10 - 17 years of age.

They stayed in Taiwan for 2 weeks, and culminated it with a visit to Toucheng Farm.

All of them participated the activities at the Farm like kilning sweet potatoes, T-shirt and green bag printing, sky lantern making and releasing, tour of the Farm etc...

One special student is Chris, pure American, had been studying Mandarin as his parents encourage him to study and he himself wanted to speak, read and write the Chinese language perfectly!

They left Toucheng Farm morning of Aug. 16, and after a tour of Yilan City, they will proceed to Taoyuan airport and catch the 23:00 flight to Los Angeles.

Many other students come to Toucheng Farm after a visit or study in Taiwan.

One of them is David, from Canada ,who visited his good friend Thomas (Taiwanese in orange T-shirt). Thomas' uncle (in dark blue T-shirt) suggested to come and spend a 2 days and 1 night at Toucheng Farm, as he had been here at the Farm, which left his memorable memories.

You, too can enjoy your weekends or summer if you spend it at Toucheng Farm, Want to try?
