Formosan Blue Magpie

Urocissa caerulea or "long-tailed lady of the forest" is another name for this brilliantly colored bird of Taiwan.

They belong to the Crow family and a noisy kind of bird. When you hear a "Kwak.kwak, kwak"sound, it could be them !

Look: Their feathers are sapphire blue, except the head, neck and the tip of the upper tail - which are black,
Their beak is bright red, and yellow irises.

It is the national bird of Taiwan and an endemic specie.

If you want to catch a glimpse of this lovely bird. come to Toucheng Leisure Farm for a closer look!
But you have to see the real ones!
