Chinese New Year - 3


What is Chinese New Year?

It is more than lion dances or deafening firecrackers, it's more of family togetherness, gift-giving and most importantly, Chinese food-fest! sounds like Christmas! Right ! Chinese new year to the Chinese, is like Christmas to the Westerners..
Children loves this festivities especially due to the red packets distributed by elders. They usually count the number of packets received plus the amount of cash collected.
Here in Taiwan, the Lunar New Year holidays will start on the eve February 13, until Feb. 21. Some extends it to the 15Th day of the Lunar calendar which falls on Feb. 28.

Toucheng Farm is fully decorated to let every one feel the spirit of the occasion.


Guests are well entertained during these days, with traditional games, activities and food, just like going home to Grandma's home.
