English Class for Yilan County's Leisure Farms

The Yilan Farmers Association under the direction of the Yilan County Government sponsored an English class at Toucheng Farm today. Its main purpose is to better serve the numerous guests who come to enjoy the beauty of Yilan County.

Thirty five participants from different Leisure Farms, guest houses and other recreational areas in Yilan came to join the activities.

English vocabularies were taught, with games and dialogues as part of the lessons in an active and lively atmosphere under two foreign teachers Alexea and Kobi, both are South African nationals.

Every one was serious and diligent in studying English especially our very own Grandma Cho! They had an oral test of the dialogues on the spot!
After a tour around the Farm, they had a rare chance to visit the Cang Jiu Winery, including a wine tasting activity!

Here are some participants with the foreign English teachers in front of Toucheng Farm's Mud hut.

With the English, Japanese and Korean descriptions on the various areas of the Farm, now foreign and local guests will feel the global atmosphere at Toucheng Farm.

Next time you have the chance, take note of these new surroundings.
