Camellia at Toucheng Farm

At Toucheng Farm this time of the year, Camellias are in bloom. It is one of the "Queens" in a flower garden.
It is said that Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, grew camellia flowers in all her gardens. She so loved it that camellias were placed on top of her flag-draped coffin, picked from her garden.

To eulogize its beautiful flower, Rabindranath Tagore wrote a poem entitled "Camellia".

Watching them bloom at Toucheng Farm will give you an idea why Queen Mother Elizabeth or Rabindranath Tagore loves it. Maybe you too, will love it and write something about it, who knows?

Come and visit Toucheng Farm and enjoy its beauty in a fresh, clean and comfortable environment.
