Taipei European School (French Section)

Today, four Teachers, forty-three children from Taipei European School French Section came to visit Toucheng Leisure Farm for a 2 days and one night stay.

Here are some photos taken during their stay.

While they make the rice balls for soup,  (below) which they ate after the sky lantern activity.

While printing leaves on their T-shirt DIY.

We went sweet potato digging for fresh, organic and juicy potatoes.

Here Uncle Ando demonstrates how to make a kiln, a traditional oven for baking eggs, corn,
sweet potatoes or even the whole chicken.

Here are some of the children's comments after the activities.

This is the first time I've ever seen a firefly!!

I saw 49 fireflies tonight!!

Coming here is the best thing that ever happened to me!!

Toucheng Leisure Farm hopes to see them again next year, as they do every year!
