Carabao (Bubalus bubalis carabanensis)

Take a look at this cute creature, a new arrival at Toucheng Leisure Farm!
Just six days old! A male calf.

Do you see the smiles as they celebrate the additional member of the family?

Swamp (or water) buffaloes has been the Farmer's best friend for 5,000 years!  They are considered members of the farmer's family! and  in the East they are called "the  living tractors"!

Here I am again, Hello world and everyone!

There are many legends handed down for generations about this important animal in Asia:
The Chinese philosophical sage Laozi  rode a water buffalo when he left China through the Han Gu Pass.
In Vietnam it is the most valuable possesion of poor farmers.
In Taiwan the old farmers do not eat beef as a respect to the water buffalo!
(Thanks to Wikipedia for this information).

Come and visit us and see this new attraction!
