Callicarpa formosana

Are these tiny grapes? These are berries!

It is a specie of beautyberries which are usually grown as an ornamental plant.


These tiny clusters of berries or drupes are light-purple.



But their flowers are white!
 

 
This specie ranges from Taiwan to southern Japan.

Interesting, isn't it!

Nature is so interesting!
