Pomelos in bloom

Chinese grapefruit, pomelos or chaddock is the largest of all citrus fruits (citrus maxima or citrus grandis). It is a round or sometimes a pear-shaped fruit with a thick but soft rind.
Now at Toucheng Leisure Farm they are in full bloom and fill the Farm with their sweet-smelling blossoms.

It's rare and not-so-well known name is shaddock. Captain Shaddock was an English sea Captain who brought the first seeds to the West Indies during the 17th century from the Malay Archipelago.

Come to Toucheng Farm and enjoy the view and its aroma!
