Rapeseed's yellow flower

Rapeseed or Brassica napus belongs to the mustard or cabbage family.

Now they are in full bloom at Toucheng Leisure Farm's vegetable garden.

It is very famous as vegetable's oil source - canola oil.

Besides the oil, the leaves and stems are also edible and in Chinese they are called "oil vegetable" due to its importance in making the canola oil.

Their yellow blossoms are very attractive, look the bees are buzzing as they collect the nectar.

It is very relaxing to just watch the flowers, the green surroundings, the bees as they fly from one flower to another!

All these and many more at Toucheng Leisure Farm!

Welcome and enjoy with us these spectacular sights and experiences.
