A new kid at the Farm.

A new kid has arrived at Toucheng Leisure Farm!

Last week, mommy goat gave birth to a cute kid, look at its photo taken and see how cute it is!

Domestic goats are closely related to the sheep as they both belong to the goat-antelop subfamily Caprinae.

Here at the Farm, they live together and it is difficult to differentiate them. One way to distinquish them is when they're hungry and "cry". How? Goats' cry: mei...mei..mei! and how about the sheep? Did you remember your kindergarten song: "Bah...bah..black sheep have you any wool"? you can be sure it is a sheep!

Here are some information about goats I gathered, thanks to Wikipedia for these:

Females are called does or nannies.

Males are called bucks or billies.

Baby goats - kids

Goat meat (commonly used) mutton.

Its scientific name is capra aegagrus hircus.

They give us milk to drink, meat to eat, skin and hair for clothes and some modern men care them as pets.

Would you like to see for yourself this newly arrival kid?

Come to Toucheng Leisure Farm and enjoy this good news!
