White ginger Lily (Hedychium coronarium)

Toucheng Farm's air is filled with the refreshing perfume of the White butterfly lily.. Their white flowers is also, very clearly seen with the green leaves at the background. It's a contemplating sight!

White ginger lily or Hedychium coronarium, is Cuba's National flower. It is sometimes called "Mariposa blanca" because of its similarity to a white butterfly. Its flower is very aromatic that women use them to decorate their hair with it.



They are a flower arrangement's favorite flower, and many collect them at the nearby mountain and sell them at the market.
You know where they are by the sweet smell they emit even in the dark, at night.
