Guests from Germany

A group of Germans and their Tour Guide visited Toucheng Leisure Farm last Saturday as part of their trip to Taiwan. Although it was a short stay, they visited many parts of the Farm. Watch them as they toured the FArm.

Upon arrival, we went around for a tour.

BYK Guests from Singapore and Malaysia

Guests from Singapore and Malaysia, all belong to the BYK group stayed at Toucheng Leisure Farm for 2 days and 1 night visit. This is part of their tour of Taiwan.

Dominican International School, Taipei

Around this time of the year, The Dominican International School in Taipei' Students and Teachers visits Toucheng Leisure Farm. Today, the kindergarten children (K 1 & 2), Grades I & 2 children came.

After a short snack, we toured the Farm and printed some leaves on the green bag. After a sumptuous lunch they went back to Taipei with memorable memories!

Singapore School of the Arts (SOTA)

School of the Arts, Singapore Students and Teachers stayed at Toucheng Leisure Farm for a two-days and one night visit.

They arrived in the afternoon of Nov. 1st and left the next day.

Their first activity was a sumptuous Barbecue dinner DIY, then proceeded to the make some sky lanterns, lighted it and watched them as it soar up to the night sky.

Every one went to their rooms and slept.

The next day after breakfast, they toured around the Farm, here are some photos taken during their
stay.



Feeding water buffaloes and goats  is one of the memorable experiences one can have while visiting our Farm.




Transplanting rice seedlings in the rice paddies barefooted is an 
extraordinary feeling!



We had some printing activity using leaves on a green bag.



And many other exciting moments at Toucheng Leisure Farm!

Last year around this time, others students of SOTA also came for a visit.

Hopefully we will see them again next year and every year!

Soweto Kliptown Youth (SKY) Project from South Africa

Today is a day of rejoicing!
Mr,Bob Nameng, the founder of  SKY Project  from South Africa visited Toucheng Leisure Farm. With him came some 20 young adults, all members of the this Group.

These amazingly active Group stayed for a two-days and one night package.


Day 1:
Upon arrival, they started the activity with kilning sweet potatoes.


They cooked their own dinner DIY barbecue. mind you, they can start the fire faster than the fire starter.
!

The night ended with the lighted sky lantern DIY and watched it flew up to the dark sky.


Day 2:

Breakfast' schedule was 8:00 a.m.

After that we had so many activities planned for them with the students from a local Toucheng Senior High School.

NGSE (New Generation Service Exchange) Rotary

Today some young people came to visit the Farm. These 21 special guests stayed for 2 days and 1 night. These young, energetic and lovely people are: some Germans and some Taiwanese .




After  a sumptuous BBQ dinner, we gathered at the DIY Center to make sky lanterns, lighted them
and watch as it soar up to the dark sky.





The next day, we went for a tour of the Farm.

Herbs grown at the Farrm



Herbs are essential in cooking dishes to enhance and flavorize them.
To identify them correctly and handy for use, many are planted and grown at the Farm. Some of them I collected pictures and show them for your information.
