Little Farmers at the Farm

A bi-lingual (Chinese-English) speaking kindergarten School from Taipei suburban area brought some of their students to Toucheng Farm. These children experienced the cool, pollution- free environment and relaxing atmosphere of the Farm with their teachers, this weekend.

Who says we can only play or sing or dance?, We too, can do the Farmer's job even for just 2 days!

It was a rare experience for these fortunate children, which could imprint in their young minds a lasting memory. Here are the pictures I collected and share with you:

while feeding the water buffaloes.

As they collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop.

while feeding the goats

or "singing" along with the turkeys!

Can you tell who's the real "scarecrow"?

While cheering for their teacher as she re-plant rice seedlings in the rice paddy.

while erecting a kiln ( dry mud oven).

or building a fire to roast eggs, sweet potatoes or whole chicken, underneath.

After a tired morning from the field, they are ready for a sumptuous lunch and a farewell group picture.
