The citrus fruits family

Pomelos are the biggest fruits of the citrus family. They bear fruits during Autumn getting ready for the Mid-Autumn festival.

Oranges comes in different species, this is close to a tangerine.

Kumquats are not actually a citrus fruit but sometimes included to it due to its color and similarity.  

This is sometimes called calamansi or lime. Its scientific name is calamondin and is one of the richest source of vitamin C.

The citrus fruits mentioned here are grown and cultivated at Toucheng Leisure Farm. They can be picked and given to guests as give aways.

Citrus are edible fruits loaded with essential nutrients for our bodies, like calcium for a healthy bones and vitamins for skin. All citrus fruits are rich sources of vitamin C.

During the Chinese New Year season, guests are allowed to pick oranges right from the trees at the orange orchard. Kumquats and calamansi (calamondin) are also available during this season.,

Graptopetalum paraguanyense

This plant specie belonging to the jade family plant is commonly called Mother-of-pearl-plant or Ghost plant.

 

It is a native of Mexico which forms rosettes of gray leaves with a pinkish cast to them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

They bloom white flowers during spring.

At Toucheng Leisure Farm, they are seen in many places and usually climb among rocks.

Their thick leaves are edible and can serve as a delicious salad and taste best with some salad dressing of your choice.

For me they are green roses and could serve as decoration for a any dish.

They can be planted easily if you are a plant lover.

Mr. and Mrs Modi visited Toucheng Leisure Farm and stayed for 3days and 2 nights.

 

The beautiful Mayra with her big round eyes has attracted many, during their stay!

 And Rishabh enjoyed every moment making pizza DIY and look at him in front of the mud ovens.
