The Nanyang Polytechnic students - Singapore

Teachers and students of Nanyang Polytechnic College (School of Information Technology) of Singapore came last Thursday and Friday for a 2 days and 1 night stay.

Here is the group picture taken in front of the mud hut inside the Farm.

Printing of leaves on the T-shirt or green bag is one of the activities in Farm. Dyes of different colors add to the beauty of one's creation, and look how proud they are and of course smile can be seen on the faces of those who wear it.

Dinner is a BBQ party dined outside and shared it with friends and classmates. Variety of food decorate the dining room's table and one can choose from them. BBQ grills are provided along the corridors where one can cook according to one's own taste.

Sky lanterns are made DIY, prayers and wishes are written on them, lighted and watch them as they soar up to the night skies. This activity is best-loved by many especially the first-timer at Toucheng Farm. The night activities are usually culminated with a burst of glaring fireworks display.

Other photos are published at our website's photo album.

Many other activities awaits guests of the Farm patterned according to their needs or wishes.

You, too can have a refreshing day or days at the Farm. What are you waiting for?

Springtime at Toucheng Farm

Touring the Farm at springtime is a very exciting experience. This time I went around with our Madame Chuo and Vicky.

There are many things to share with everyone, but this three images you see caught my attention and my camera!

The pea (pisum sativum)plant is a kind of vegetable which blooms a cute, dark pink and light pink to white flower. Its pea are cooked and eaten fresh, frozen or canned.

Look at our boss, collecting fresh tendrils for her lunch, very fresh and crispy! How lucky she is!

These are the images of one of the ficus trees in the Farm.

Ficus superba will lose all of its leaves during winter and at springtime it will start to sprout out tiny green leaves which slowly grows larger until summer. It's very interesting to hear how this tree changes its images with the four seasons!

This is the image of the Machillus thunbergii tree.

New leaves sprout at this time, and shaped like a small cone protruding upwards. What is interesting is they changes colors from dark red to greenish red. I can't describe it well, you have to come and see it yourself!

We had a wonderful morning, and what a fresh and cool environment!

Come to Toucheng Leisure Farm and tell your own story, you can tell it better than I did!

Vegetarian dishes at the Farm

Guests at Toucheng Farm comes from different nations, color or creed.
Besides the Buddhists or Muslims who comes occasionally, many local Taiwanese choose to consume vegetarians dishes daily.

Look at the samples of the vegetarian dishes prepared at the Farm for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is usually prepared in a traditional Chinese style of congee, vegetables and soya milk. Western breakfast is also served for those who ask for it.

Toucheng Leisure Farm's chef delicately prepares special vegetarian dishes not only to satiate their appetite, but attractively colorful and nutritiously rich, to cater to their needs and choices.

Vegetables patches are filled with fresh products, orchards have fresh fruits for guests to pick or gather and bring home to share with family and friends. Where else can you enjoy these fun?
Of course, only at Toucheng Leisure Farm!
That is one reason why you have to visit us! You'll never regret it!
